Sarawak Bird
The State Bird is the majestic Rhinoceros Hornbill. The Rhinoceros Hornbill represents one of the most powerful Sea Dayak (Iban) gods, Singalang Burong, who plays an important part in Iban religious festivals, such as “Gawai Kenyalang”. It is a symbol of strength and courage. Sarawak is known as the "Land of the Hornbills".
